北京舞蹈學(xué)院附中前身為北京舞蹈學(xué)校，始建于1954年9月，是新中國創(chuàng)建最早的中等舞蹈學(xué)校。1978年原北京舞蹈學(xué)校升格為北京舞蹈學(xué)院，之后更名為現(xiàn)校名。

The Secondary School Affiliated to Beijing Dance Academy, formerly known as Beijing Dance School, was founded in September 1954. It is the earliest secondary dance school established in New China. In 1978, the original Beijing Dance School was upgraded to Beijing Dance Academy and accordingly the Secondary School assumed its current name.

北京舞蹈學(xué)院附中作為北京舞蹈學(xué)院的基石、舞蹈高精尖人才培養(yǎng)的基礎(chǔ)、舞蹈社會(huì)化人轉(zhuǎn)變的基地，多年來，一直是我國中等職業(yè)舞蹈教育的一面旗幟，在管理水平、師資力量、教學(xué)水平、教學(xué)成果、學(xué)術(shù)研究、畢業(yè)生質(zhì)量等各方面始終居于國內(nèi)同行業(yè)的前列。

The School has served as a base for selecting and training various dance talents, preparing high-level and talented dancers for the Academy. It has also been a base for training dancers needed by other institutions or organizations in the society. Since its inception, the School has been a banner of secondary vocational dance education in China and has taken on a leading position among the country’s dance institutions of secondary education, acquiring a nationwide reputation for its advanced administration, outstanding faculty, high-level teaching and researching achievements, the robust quality of its graduates and other aspects.

學(xué)校擁有雄厚的教學(xué)實(shí)力、先進(jìn)的教學(xué)理念、深厚的舞蹈文化積淀，培養(yǎng)了像賈作光、白淑湘、呂藝生、陳愛蓮、王亞彬、劉巖、唐詩逸、華宵一等杰出的舞蹈表演藝術(shù)家、編導(dǎo)家、教育家、理論家以及像李曉冉、章子怡、姚晨等活躍在熒屏上的演藝明星。學(xué)校享有“舞蹈家搖籃”的美譽(yù)，為新中國舞蹈事業(yè)的發(fā)展做出了卓越的貢獻(xiàn)。

The School has the abundant teaching resources, advanced teaching conceptions, and deep accumulation of dance culture. It has cultivated several generations of outstanding dance performing artists, choreographers, art educators and theorists, such as Jia Zuoguang, Bai Shuxiang, Lyu Yisheng, Chen Ailian, Wang Yabin, Liu Yan, Tang Shiyi, Hua Xiaoyi, etc. Among the graduates are also current super movie stars like Li Xiaoran, Zhang Ziyi, Yao Chen, etc. As such, the School is crowned as “the cradle of dancers”, making outstanding contributions to the development of dance in New China.

北京舞蹈學(xué)院附中培養(yǎng)的學(xué)生在國際國內(nèi)的多項(xiàng)重大比賽中屢獲殊榮。在全國“桃李杯”舞蹈大賽、瑞士洛桑國際芭蕾舞比賽、芬蘭赫爾辛基國際芭蕾舞比賽、保加利亞瓦爾納國際芭蕾舞比賽、英國黑池國際舞蹈節(jié)和黑池世界青少年體育舞蹈公開賽、全國職業(yè)院校技能大賽、中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化藝術(shù)表演賽、北京國際芭蕾舞邀請(qǐng)賽、北京市職業(yè)院校技能大賽、北京市舞蹈大賽、上海國際芭蕾舞比賽等諸多賽事賽項(xiàng)中均取得優(yōu)異成績。

Students and graduates of the School have won numerous awards and prizes in major international and domestic competitions. Chief among such events are the national “Peach and Plum Cup” dance competition, Lausanne International Ballet Competition (Switzerland), Helsinki International Ballet Competition (Finland), Varna International Ballet Competition (Bulgaria), Blackpool International Dance Festival and Blackpool World Youth Sports Dance Open (UK), National Vocational School Skills Competition, Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture and Arts Performance Competition, Beijing International Ballet Invitational, Beijing Municipal Dance Competition, Shanghai International Ballet Competition and many other competitions.

學(xué)校積極開展國際合作交流，在國際上樹立良好的中國舞蹈教育形象，畢業(yè)生更是遍布國際各大舞蹈團(tuán)體及舞蹈院校。在美國紐約國際青少年舞蹈比賽中，北京舞蹈學(xué)院附中被組委會(huì)授予“世界杰出學(xué)校”稱號(hào)。

The School actively engages in international cooperation and exchanges, and has established a good image of Chinese dance education in the world. Its graduates are recruited into major dance troupes and dance schools all over the world. At the New York International Youth Dance Competition, the School was awarded the title of “World Outstanding School” by the Organizing Committee.

學(xué)校出色地完成了國家與北京市交與的重大任務(wù)，肩負(fù)起行業(yè)排頭兵的責(zé)任，服務(wù)國家，回饋社會(huì)。

The School has successfully accomplished the important tasks assigned by the country and Beijing Municipality, shouldering the responsibility of the industry leader, serving the country and giving back to the society.

這些成就奠定了學(xué)校在我國中等職業(yè)舞蹈教育領(lǐng)域的領(lǐng)軍地位，為舞蹈教育的發(fā)展和繁榮貢獻(xiàn)力量。

These achievements have established the School’s leading position in the field of secondary vocational dance education in the country, contributing immensely to its development and flourishing.

十四五規(guī)劃期間，北京舞蹈學(xué)院附中堅(jiān)持 “高等藝術(shù)教育優(yōu)秀后備人才基地和優(yōu)秀職業(yè)舞蹈表演藝術(shù)人才培養(yǎng)基地”的辦學(xué)定位，堅(jiān)持“國際知名、國內(nèi)領(lǐng)先、現(xiàn)代化、標(biāo)志性的中等職業(yè)舞蹈學(xué)校”的發(fā)展目標(biāo)，堅(jiān)持培養(yǎng)“崇德尚藝、身心健康、文化和專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)扎實(shí)、綜合素養(yǎng)高、可持續(xù)發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ)型舞蹈文化人才”的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)，堅(jiān)持為社會(huì)服務(wù)的理念，加強(qiáng)師德建設(shè)和德育工作，全面建設(shè)“愛國、愛校、愛舞蹈”的校風(fēng)，“愛崗敬業(yè)、無私奉獻(xiàn)”的教風(fēng)和“勤學(xué)、責(zé)任、自律”的學(xué)風(fēng)。

During the 14the Five-year Plan period, the School will adhere to its orientation as “a reserving base for excellent art talents pursuing higher education and a training base for outstanding professional dance performing talents”. It will continue to work to the development goals of building a school of “international reputation, domestic leadership, modern standard, and a banner of secondary vocational dance education”. It will adhere to the educational goal of “training well-cultivated students with a strong consciousness of morality and art, physical and mental health, solid knowledge and professional foundations, high-caliber comprehensive qualities, and sustainable fundamental capabilities”. It will stick to the concept of serving the society, strengthening the teachers’ role in ethical and moral education. It will continue to promote the School’s longstanding tradition of “l(fā)oving the country, the School, and dance” among students and teachers; of being committed wholeheartedly to teaching among teachers; and of training the sense of “diligence, responsibility, and discipline” among students.
