北京古城中學

北京市古城中學始建于1959年,是一所由人民大會堂的同批石料建設的具有厚重文化積淀的歷史老校。學校致力于內涵發展，充分尊重生命，尊重差異，用適合每一個人的教育方式，培養未來社會積極而負責的優秀公民。

2012年9月，北京市古城中學通過北京市教委審批，開設了西班牙語實驗班。該實驗班是北京市唯一一個以西班牙語作為第一外語的實驗班，以“培養中國與西班牙語國家之間積極而負責的世界公民”為目標，在辦學中貫徹“國際視野拓展人”的教育理念。目前，學校分別與國內各大高等院校西班牙語系建立了友好關系；與西語系國家多個駐華大使館建立了聯系，并通過使館分別與西班牙和秘魯的多個學校建立了友好校關系。

此外，學校與美國、西班牙等幾個國家的大學和中學建立了合作關系，學校還帶領學生們去美國、英國、歐洲、日本、西班牙等諸國去學習與考察，開闊學生的國際視野。

2016年7月，古城中學成為北京市"1 3"培養項目試驗學校，成立了以培養“工匠精神”、打造未來“卓越工程師”的實驗班。經選拔出來的學生在初二年級結束后進入“卓越班”，連續完成初三及高中共四年的學習。通過四年一貫的優質課程結構體系，目的是培養具有多元選擇，基礎扎實，綜合素質較高，具有自主學習能力和動手實踐能力，具備一定的創新能力和國際視野的合格人才。

Up till now, Gucheng Middle School has built friendship with Spanish Departments from many universities in China, created good relationship with many Embassies of Spanish-speaking countries and founded many sister-schools in Spain and Peru.

Besides, our school has established successful cooperation with certain high schools and colleges in some countries such as America and Spain. In July 2016, Gucheng Middle School has become ““1 3” training program pilot school and have founded experimental classes aiming for cultivating the spirit of craftsmanship and “outstanding engineers". Students are selected into the experimental class after finishing junior Grade 2. These students will complete the last year’s course of junior middle school and 3 years’ high school courses together.
