廣外附屬中、小學(xué)坐落在白云山腳下，環(huán)境優(yōu)美的廣東外語外貿(mào)大學(xué)校校園內(nèi)。創(chuàng)辦于1970年，原為廣州外國語學(xué)院子弟學(xué)校，2001年轉(zhuǎn)制，現(xiàn)為廣東外語外貿(mào)大學(xué)全額出資的公有民辦學(xué)校。學(xué)校現(xiàn)有小學(xué)36個(gè)班級，初中12個(gè)班級，學(xué)生近2100人，教職工160多人。
學(xué)校依托廣東外語外貿(mào)大學(xué)的優(yōu)質(zhì)資源，秉承大學(xué)“明德尚行，學(xué)貫中西”的校訓(xùn)，堅(jiān)持“對學(xué)生的終身發(fā)展負(fù)責(zé)，培養(yǎng)走向世界的現(xiàn)代人”的辦學(xué)宗旨，不斷完善“先做人，后成才”的育人理念，落實(shí)“輕負(fù)荷、高質(zhì)量”教學(xué)特色，追求文化立校，質(zhì)量立校，特色立校。
經(jīng)過50年的辦學(xué)沉淀，學(xué)校先后榮獲：國家教師科研基金“十二·五”規(guī)劃重點(diǎn)課題科研單位、全國教育科研先進(jìn)單位、中國民辦教育特色建設(shè)先進(jìn)學(xué)校，全國首批STEM教育種子學(xué)校、全國中小學(xué)舞蹈教育傳統(tǒng)學(xué)校、廣東省普教系統(tǒng)“百千萬人才工程”培訓(xùn)基地學(xué)校等多個(gè)榮譽(yù)稱號。在各種比賽中，師生獲國家級獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)200多人次，省、市級榮譽(yù)500多人次。

The Affiliated School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Profile
The Affiliated School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies（GDUFS）, established in 1970 especially for the children of the university faculty members, lies on the beautiful campus of GDUFS at the foot of Baiyun Mountain. Restructured in 2000, it became a privately-run public school funded by GDUFS. Currently, the school consists of 36 primary school classes and 12 lower secondary school classes, with nearly 2100 students and more than 160 teachers.
Over the years, adhering to the motto of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, “pursuit of integrity, practice, and cross-cultural learning”, the school has been striving for “l(fā)ifelong development of learners and cultivation of internationally-oriented modern people”, as well as its educational idea of “integrity before learning”, and has accordingly adopted a pedagogical approach featuring “l(fā)ight schoolwork and high quality”. All this has contributed to a school culture with its own unique features.
With 50 years of painstaking efforts, the school has been commissioned as the site for the 12th Five-year Plan Key Project Research sponsored by the National Teacher Research Fund, and recognized nationally as “Advanced School of Education and Research”, “Advanced School of Private Education in China”, and one of the first national STEM pilot schools. It has been awarded many honorary titles, including the traditional school of dance education in primary and secondary schools, and the talent-training base of the "Hundred-Thousand-Ten-Thousand Project" in the General Education System of Guangdong Province. In various competitions, our teachers and students have won more than 200 national awards and more than 500 provincial and municipal honors.
